Payment Options

To reserve your initial (New Patient) appointment we require a $100 deposit.  The $100 will be put toward the cost of your services for this first appointment.  Dr. Hoch can only consult with one patient at a time, therefore, these appointments are highly sought after.  Should you not keep this appointment the deposit will be forfeited as a missed appointment fee.

Payment of your Chiropractic services is expected at the time of service. We accept credit or debit cards from Visa, Master Card, Discover, and Cash. Personal checks are not accepted.  You will be provided with a superbill which will have all the details necessary to obtain reimbursement from your insurance company for the services rendered.  All you’ll need to do is address an envelope and mail the superbill to your insurance carrier.

A typical first visit to our office, (consultation and examination) will be $125-$155, excluding any treatment.  If x-rays are required, the typical fee for the x-rays from Radiology Regional Center averages $60 per set (spinal region). Typical follow-up treatment visits for your condition cost approximately $75-125 during the relief phase of care, and $60 during the corrective and wellness phases of care.

If a payment plan is needed for you to be able to get the care you need, this can be discussed with our staff on your second visit.  All payment plans are considered on a case-by-case basis and customized to meet the needs of your care plan.

*Keep in mind that your co-pay may actually be MORE than my office visit fee.  For example, I have many patients who have $60 co-pays.  Most of these patients only receive spinal adjustments for which the fee is $60.  In these cases, it is more cost-effective for them to pay cash for their services no matter where they decide to get their chiropractic care.

New Patient Exam    $125 – $195

An Evaluation Is Necessary for all new patients to the practice. We often get calls from new patients who have never been seen or treated by me who simply want to be adjusted and do not want to allow me to review their health history or perform even the most basic physical examination.  I won’t do it.

Firstly, it doesn’t meet the standard of care of physicians and I am a physician.  Secondly, how can I determine the best course of care or type of adjustment to render if I don’t first find out what is wrong and evaluate the situation?  If you are new to me as a patient, whether you have had chiropractic care in the past or not, you should expect me to review your medical and health history and perform at least a focused examination before receiving any treatment or treatment recommendations of any kind.  You should expect this from any Nurse Practitioner, PA, or Physician you see.  Even your mechanic runs a diagnostic on your car to make sure they are fixing the right thing…why would you expect anything less from your doctor?

For New Patients to the practice, an exam can range from 125 – 195 depending on the complexity of your problem(s).  An exam is necessary for every new patient.  It allows the doctor to determine the cause of your problem(s), discover any underlying conditions, and determine the best treatment approach for your care plan.  Our most commonly billed fee for a new patient exam is $155.

X-Rays  $60 – 200

In many cases, x-rays are an important part of your exam.  They help the doctor detect diseases of the bones and joints, show subluxation and structural distortion patterns and are extremely helpful with the specific diagnosis of your condition, and can help predict how long a care plan should be for your condition.  Dr. Hoch sends her patients who require x-rays to Radiology Regional.  Radiology Regional has multiple locations in the Fort Myers area and they offer quick service and low fees to their customers. Adjustments  $60 – 75

An Adjustment to any area of the spine is $60.  An adjustment to any of the extremities (hand, foot, knee, hip, shoulder, jaw) is $60.

Most people need their entire spine adjusted and not just one segment.  However, if only one segment is what needs to be adjusted, then that is what Dr. Hoch will provide.

Physiotherapies  Starting at $30 each

Adjunctive therapies such as cold laser treatments, therapeutic ultra Sound, electric muscle stimulation, kinetic activities, therapeutic exercises, specific muscle stretching, myofascial release, trigger point therapy,  are used to break up muscle spasms and reduce pain and inflammation, and increase circulation to injured tissues.  These types of therapies are often part of an acute phase of care when triage is necessary to get you back to your everyday life.  These therapies are billed separately and the total cost is based on the time or number of areas treated.

Spinal Decompression Packages  Start at $480
